1970s Ghostland Lunch Box

I love lunchboxes, board games, and spooky things, so this 1970s haunted house lunchbox with a game on the back is about as good as it gets for me! I remember wanting this as a child, but either it wasn't available in my area, or it was too expensive. When I finally found one last year, I felt like I was 8 years old again...

  1. Just found your site!
This lunchbox is pretty great and I vaguely remember a friend having it in Kindergarten.

I can't remember though, what WAS Ghostland? Was it a TV show? Is it just a spooky lunchbox? Remind me, please!

  2. Hi! As far as I know, it's just a spooky lunchbox, no TV show connection or anything that I've been able to discover. I love this lunchbox.

  3. I had this lunchbox as a 3rd grader. All the kids in my class wanted to carry my lunchbox back to the classroom from the cafeteria so they could play the game and spin the arrow! My lunchbox made me popular for a few minutes everyday after lunch. I have never seen another like it, and am glad I got to see it up close again.

    Thank You!

When I carry it to work now, I have the same problem. :0)

  5. Wow! I always thought I had a Casper lunchbox and could never find a picture of it. Now I know it wasn't Casper at all, but Ghostland! I'm so glad I came across this. Brings back great memories. I wish my mom still made my lunch everyday!
